Innovative Community Participation

At AmbaCare, in collaboration with our participants, we seek new and innovative ways for people living with a disability to engage and interact with the broader community.

We acknowledge that some people with disabilities may find it difficult to interact with others in a social setting, such as joining a sporting club, attending personal development courses or joining a social group. But with the assistance of our support team, we can help you be involved in activities in your community, depending on what you need or are interested in, on the level you choose, individually or in a group.

Our goal is to help develop your social skills by participating in social and civic activities that promote the quality of life in a community. We believe that our social and recreational supports help people, especially those with disabilities, achieve independence, have fun and enhance their health and well-being.
